    In the parish church of San Salvador the orchestra and the choir of Scuola di Musica E. Wolf-Ferrari, directed by Edda Pittan Lazzarini, and the Corale Francescana, directed by Marco Paladin, will perform a Christmas Concert including traditional songs and musics.

  • Saturday December 18th, h 8:30 pm

    In the parish church of San Salvador two choirs Cantori Veneziani and Piccoli Cantori Veneziani, directed by Mara Bortolato, will perform a Christmas Concert including traditional songs and three of them by orthodoxal liturgy.

    The Parish Church of San Salvador gives hospitality to the Greshams Chorus from Norfolk (England). Under the direction of the Music Master Mark Jones, several pieces of sacred music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods will be sung 'a cappella'.

    In the vicar church of San Bartolomeo at the organ Callido op. 101 Fabrizio Mason performs a program of pieces from the Advent literature of pre-Bach composers.

  • Friday, November 5th, 6:00 pm

    On the occasion of the presentation of the two recently restored paintings in the Holy Sacrament Chapel, the Parish Church of San Salvador offers a concert: Salvator Mundi. Echoes of the XVII century in Venice. Mottetti by Usper and by other authors will be and played by the Ancient Music School of Venice.

  • Sunday, Oct. 10th, at 11,30 a.m.

    The Parish Church of San Salvador gives hospitality to the Chorus from Meldorf Cathedral (Germany). Under the direction of the Music Master Paul Naucekienill, the young choristers will perform during the Holy Mass joyful musical pieces by Buxtehude, Eben, Handel and other authors.

  • Friday, Oct. 8th, at 8,30 p.m.

    The Parish Church of San Salvador gives hospitality to the Chamber Orchestra from Lubecca (Germany) and to its Music Master Britta von der Lippe. In the program, pieces by Vivaldi, Rachmaninoff, Mozart, Britten and Ricciotti. The event is sponsored by the Italian/German Cultural Association of Venice.

  • Monday 27, Wednesday 29 September and Friday 1 October, h 9:00 pm

    In the vicar church of San Bartolomeo dr. Ernst Kubitschek at the Callido organ and dr. Marianne Ronez at the violin (Innsbruck) will present the full version of the Rosary Sonata by H. I. F. Biber (1644.1704), divided into three consecutive concerts and enriched with pieces by G. Muffat, F. X. A. Murschhauser, A. Poglietti, J. J. Froberger and J. Pachelbel.

  • Sunday 26 September, h 9:00 pm

    In the parish church of San Salvador the choir of Kristiansand cathedral (Norway), directed by maestro Andrew Wilder, will perform a program "a capella" including several pieces by Norwegian composers (Kverno, Nystedt, Slogedal, Grieg, Nielsen, Sommerro) and some pieces by Mendelssohn and Bruckner.

    In the vicar church of San Bartolomeo Fabrizio Mason performs pieces of compositions by G. B. Fasolo, G. Frescobaldi, J. P. Sweelinck, G. Muffat, B. Pasquini, J. K. Kerll with a small eighteenth-century organ ( 1775) by the Venetian organ-builder Gaetano Callido.

  • Monday 31 May, h 9:00 pm

    In the parish church of San Salvador the College of St. Catherine Women's Choir (Minnesota, USA), directed by Maestro Dr. Patricia Cahalan Connors, will perform a rarely heard composition: Miserere me, composed by J. Hasse (1699-1783) in Venice during the last years of his life for the Incurables' girls and transcribed by Dr. Connors in 2001. In addition the 25 singers will present a variety of sacred works for women's voice including works by European, Scandinavian and American composers.

    In the vicar church of San Bartolomeo Massimo Bisson performs pieces of compositions G. Cavazzoni, G. Frescobaldi, B. Storace, J. Pachelbel, J. G. Walther with a small eighteenth-century organ ( 1775) by the Venetian organ-builder Gaetano Callido.

  • Sunday 23 May, h 5:00 pm – “Pulsantur Organa”

    In the vicar church of San Bartolomeo Nicola Lamon performs pieces of compositions G. Cavazzoni, A. Gabrieli, G. Frescobaldi, B. Storace, G. B. Pescetti, J. S. Bach.with a small eighteenth-century organ ( 1775) by the Venetian organ-builder Gaetano Callido.

  • Friday 16 April, h 8:30 pm In the parish church of San Salvador the Youth Chamber Orchestra "Sequenzen" from Baden-Baden (Germany), directed by maestro Marco Boido, performs: - J. S. Bach, Canzone a Quattro (transcription by J. Heinem) - J. A. Hasse, Concerto op 3 n. 7 in G major - W. A. Mozart, Divertimento K 138 in F major
