Concerts
If the opportunity arises, the parish community welcomes choirs or musicians who wish to take part to the liturgical celebrations enriching them with their repertoires. When the performance of a sacred music concert is proposed, hospitality is offered at the following conditions: the program must be presented and authorized by the competent Curia office, entrance must be free, the concert organizers must take on †civil liability and cover all expenses. Joy Singers Choir, directed by Andrea D'Alpaos, on the occasion of its 10th anniversary (1998-2008) sings the Gospel Holy Mass.
- Tuesday, March 18th, 8:30 p.m.
To think over the mistery of our Jesus' Cross, just before the three days before Easter, the venetian vocal group "VeniDilecteMi" will perform in San Salvador Parish Church. Under direction of Jonathan Pradella, the vocalists propose mottettos and branos by Monteverdi and Grandi.
- Sunday, March 16th, 4:30 p.m.
In San Salvador Parish Church, the Chamber Orchestra coming from Low Bavaria and the Chamber Choir Straubing, under direction of Stefan Frank, perform J.S. Bach BWV 245 Johannes Passion. The event is promoted by the Italian-German cultural Association in Venice in collaboration with VeryVenice.
