Location
The Parish Church of S. Salvador is very near St. Mark's Square, and almost at the foot of the Rialto Bridge. How to get here: By boat. Thanks to its location, this Church is very easy to reach from Piazzale Roma: take the vaporetto lines 1 or 82 and get off at the Rialto boat-stop. For any information please consult the ACTV, Venice's public water transport company, web site. On foot. On the map the red lines show the easiest way to reach the Church from the Train Station, from St. Mark's and from the Accademia Museum Galleries. The church has two entrances: the main portal in Campo S. Salvador, facing the Scuola Grande di San Teodoro, and a side one in the Mercerie, one of the most characteristic Venetian streets.
